    Not understanding the warranty that it was purchased with the original equipment. The fact that the engine is got issues. Concern concerns me greatly with VW and its reliability in the future. I’m not sure if I’d be looking at a new VW at this particular point due to my experience also Also a recall #Warranty is only good for a new car warranty. Is very concerning when there’s a faulty failure associated with a leaking problem with our moonroof, I am not happy at all with these terms and gives me great pause in purchasing a new VW as I’m currently looking for another vehicle

    I felt like I was caught in a change from your past approach to customer service and some new technology that meant I wasn't getting direct communication throughout the time my car was serviced. I asked a question about whether an issue was covered (based on a previous issue a few years ago) when I first scheduled an appt, when I dropped the car off, when I messaged back, when I sent an email from your communication platform and when I responded to a service manager text. Never once did anyone provide a basic response. That was weird. I was also a little surprised since I forecast what my issue was the parts were still days out. And I wasn't getting any calls until late the first day the car was there. When I considered picking up the car to have over the weekend is when I was then told I needed to pay for an oil change before I could pick it up. That felt weird for someone who's bought multiple cars and regular gets the majority of service work there. Everything felt unorganized and urgent only when the service person was ending their day. It was only through some later communications that I heard parts were getting pushed to Tuesday. I had to ask whether that meant it would be completed that day. The service aspect felt like a fail. The car did get repaired. It seems to be working fine. The added service list is a little chaotic still. The list was extensive and based primarily on mileage vs. actual requirements. Recommendations for rear brakes was counter to what a different repair shop observed when they replaced my front brakes in the last year. That told me the backs were still 60%. The cabin air filter was recommended to be replaced in November, 2024. I think the common observation in all of this is I wasn't getting a call that giving me a clear understanding of everything and providing clarity on timing, etc. That's not the technology's fault. The process just doesn't reflect the type of service you've typically delivered. Part of the reason I come to Crown is that I felt like the issue was a uniquely VW issue and wanted the experts, but also because I feel like I can generally rely on Crown to do things to a high standard.
