FAQS

DOES CROWN VOLKSWAGEN IN HOLLAND SERVICE ELECTRIC VEHICLES?
Yes. Crown Volkswagen's factory-trained VW technicians are certified to service the full ID lineup, including high-voltage battery diagnostics, software updates, and charging system repairs. Crown VW also offers easy online EV service scheduling. Contact our service center for appointments.  WHAT IS VW CAREFREE MAINTENANCE ON THE ID.4? Volkswagen's Carefree Maintenance program covers scheduled maintenance services at 10,000 and 20,000 miles (or two years, whichever comes first) at no additional cost. For EV owners, this includes tire rotations, brake fluid checks, and cabin filter replacements. There are no oil changes required on an EV, so ongoing maintenance costs are already very low. Crown VW can provide full program details at purchase.

IS THE VW ID.4 A GOOD VEHICLE FOR MICHIGAN WINTERS?
The dual-motor AWD version of the ID.4 is well-suited for Michigan winters, delivering strong traction on snow and ice via instant electric torque to all four wheels. Expect a 20-30% range reduction in extreme cold and plan charging accordingly. The ID.4 also includes a heat pump that improves efficiency in low temperatures compared to resistive heating alone.

HOW IS THE VW ID. BUZZ DIFFERENT FROM THE ID.4?
The ID. Buzz is VW's electric van ( inspired by the iconic VW Bus) with a longer wheelbase, seating for up to 7 passengers, and 145.5 cubic feet of cargo capacity with seats folded. It starts at $59,995. The ID.4 is a more traditional compact electric SUV, more affordable and easier to park in tight spaces. Both are fully battery-electric and include Electrify America charging plans.
